Takeoff!

 

Welcome to the Zeithammer family’s England sabbatical! We are leaving for a 4 month trip, April-July 2022. We will be living in Cambridge, England for 2 months, then traveling around Europe a little for the month of June, then back to England in July for a month. 

Here’s what some of our luggage looks like: 5 checked bags, a checked car seat for Hanna, 4 wheeled carry on bags, 5 backpacks, a stroller and baby car seat for Eliza. 

Made it on the plane to Vancouver! Eliza skipped nap but she’s going strong.  We have a 3 hour flight to Vancouver then a 2.5 hour layover then a 10 hour flight to London. 

Just added a few more pics. Mostly of Eliza sleeping on the plane cos she’s so cute. But also notice the northern lights through the plane window. Sadly the kids all slept through it. I did try to wake lenny and hanna but they were quite grumpy and I don’t think they really looked!

Also notice all the luggage piled up in London. Lenny did an amazing job getting two carts and picking up all our bags while Robert and I were in the bathroom. Sadly we didn’t double check and didn’t notice till we were at the taxi that we failed to grab the checked bag with Hanna’s booster seat. It is not pretty trying to get a bag from the other side of customs… Robert is a bit traumatized I think.
